devised by Neil & Lynne Marsden following several consecutive personal
encounters with these so called professionals, experiences that left them
totally devastated but equally determined to create a system that prevented
other innocent members of the public from having to endure such trauma.

is not yet another directory or trade validation site, in fact we don't claim
to validate anybody, instead we provide an open forum where members of the
public can share their honest and factual accounts of their experiences at the
hands of the registered businesses listed upon our site. These accounts are then
published for the world to see and followed up with a highly visible feedback
score allowing the potential client to make informed decisions about who they do
business with.
The real punch
to the Check1st
concept is that a business that presents a cumulative feedback score
of less than 75% Positive is immediately and automatically suspended from the
site, if they 'put the job right' only then can their advertisement
re-appear.
In developing
the Check1st concept we knew that we
needed to provide an affordable, safe, reliable and secure system that protected
the Public and the Business User alike, and now, more than 2 years into the
project we feel that we have a remarkable solution that more than surpasses
these original objectives.
